Click on ""Player Demo Download" in the "Technology" section of the menu on the left hand side.
This will take you to the Download Area. Click on "BS Contact VRML 6.1" (the second in list).
You could, if you wish, click on "BS Contact VRML/X3D 6.2" (the first in list). This is a slightly more advanced version of the same thing but does not have an automatic donwload option. (See below)
This will take you to an expanded list. Click the Download button under "BS Contact VRML".
You will be presented with a form asking for information about yourself. This is entirely voluntary. Click the button to go to the next screen.
The next screen is a Disclaimer. Read this very carefully. Analyse every clause. Consult a suitably qualified solicitor.
Click "I Agree" and then the Download button
You have now arrived at the "B S C o n t a c t V R M L 6 . 1 D o w n l o a d" screen.
You are presented with a choice of "Manual Download" and "1 MB Cab Automated Installation".
"Manual Download" means you download a package which you can then install yourself. This has the advantage that you can later uninstall it fairly easily.
"1 MB Cab Automated Installation" installs itself and is quicker. The snag is that I haven't found a way of uninstalling it.
If you opt for the automatic installation, click "Install".
Nothing at all will happen.
After a few minutes (probably seconds on broadband), a Security window will appear. Click Yes.
YOU THEN GET THE DISCLAIMER AGAIN.
You've already accepted it so you've nothing to loose. Click Accept.
You are rewarded with a display of formation cube dancing.
Close the window before they ask you to accept the disclaimer again.
